I would take into vast consideration the location different specifications, demands and needs of my employees. I would listen to their concerns and take them into heavy consideration to try and resolve conflict or negativity in the work place. Their concerns, from ground zero, would be loud in my ear as sometimes the view from above is a little cloudy. I would make my employees confident in my ability to have their back and best interest in mind. I would try to simplify the easy stuff as to not add stress or negativity to an already stressful environment. I would fight FOR them, not against them.

They JUST integrated a sick leave policy in March of 2018 but before then for as long as I can remember we had to use our paid vacation for sick-time. Now we accumulate 1 hour for every 30 hours worked. That's barely 2.5 hours per month. Which is 3.75 days a year. And this policy only came about after we were notified that some people were let go and some received a pay deduction. Very conspicuous time-frame. So at the expense of other employee's, we now have "sick leave".
