Middle management in Chattanooga, TN
on April 9, 2022
HomeServe offers great benefits and tons of time off but the micromanagement is driving me away. Change is often met with resistance and process improvement is almost impossible. There is a breakdown between frontline individuals and upper management.

Management/HR does not care about you. They will ignore major problems within departments and only react when something blows up. A manager who lives multiple states away from the office was given the okay to work 100% remotely. This manager is a supervisor who controls a department and makes one-sided decisions favoring what one employee tells them. Can't say what I really want to here, but it's bad. Stay away if you want to be treated fairly.

You will stretch your comfort zone. After 2 weeks of class, learn navigation, and routine, you can earn double from day one by your 2nd or 3rd year. Just do the time. Don't reinvent the wheel.

Overall, everyone is overworked and stressed. Upper management are some of the worst I ever encountered. They chew you up then spit you out. C level execs have to go, they’ve been there too long! Also, some directors are old and nasty.

Employees good people management is horrible they send you places furthest from your home and expect you to be on time when u have to drive 70 miles to your stop in 40 minutes. Plenty of overtime but they won’t care where you end up and have to drive 2 hours home seniority first even if your in a different zone
