Needs management overhaul
As a company HomeTeam definitely is a decent job (Ok pay, benefits, culture, etc)
This doesn’t translate to the branch level.
Management talks a good game to get you in the door, but when pressed, they are inflexible, and dismissive at best.
The culture comes across as towing the positive company line. The reality though is that of negative reinforcement and immature behavior rather than actually helping employees learn, grow and develop.
You really can’t bring any concerns or suggestions up while you are there, as they will be diminished and dismissed.
The above issues are an unspoken part of the reason there is such a high turnover rate at this office (and it’s sister office in Raleigh)
It’s a shame too, this company has a great product, and the positions really aren’t bad all in all, there is just some serious management issues that extend too far up the food chain to be realistically fixed.
