Honeywell Mercury instruments was a stable job. The last I heard only engineering is left manufacturing was moved to Mexico around 2014.

I worked in the aerospace division, unable to answer about PMT's work enviroment, but i was let go due to economy and oil prices dropping with Honeywell, looking at there five year plan.

No, it is very unstable for the actual Honeywell employees salary, hourly and contractors as well. Honeywell and the contractors have a hard time hiring out of the local work force because of the reputation that Honeywell has brought upon itself to the local area. Constant lockouts/layoffs and then recalls then repeat again. Honeywell PMT does not have a good reputation in the area. Online searching reveals a lot.
