Not for everyone

Tedious work. Equipment used in production seems old and outdated. Lots of family connections within the production part of the company. Required overtime.

Decent place to work

Training isn't the best but they recognize that and work with you. Good for self starters and people that do well in ambiguous situations. Good work life balance

Great Place to work

Good benefitsHad plenty of time off if well plannedIt was a travelling job, which could be stressful because it would take months at a time till the site is done with no break in between , just posting you to the next site. But, they did offer good mileage for the drive between sites.

Fun City, Great People, Managers are Hit or Miss

I enjoyed my role. The city was fun but some parts were scary and felt unsafe. I met great people while working there. Some managers are better than others. It is very fast environment. Did not always feel appreciated but learned a lot.

Good pay - frequent leadership changes

Good pay - frequent leadership changes. Place to retire if you know how to play the politics game . Power is accumulated with top management (VP and above).

Good pay but hours are a bit on the excessive side.

When I worked here management only cared about getting product out the door, which is fine. However when you work your employees 10-12 hours a day with MANDATORY overtime things get old.

Over your shoulder at all times. Passive aggressive management. Bit of a racial undertone. Even with the diversity that is seen.

Job aasp. Cool job, not hard. It's the attitude in the building. Definitely didn't care about my training. Young guy comes in, mom was hired, dad worked in another department in building. He was trained on every build with in a month. I was there 4 years. I had to train myself. Good 'ole boy system is in places of the building. Even though you clearly see a diverse work force. I had 6 different managers in those 4 year. Engineers, who you have to work with daily. Where arrogant. Lots of passing info to management. Strong push to police each other, some people become sneaky with this. Much office gossip. Union was terrible. Received zero help, when I needed help with child care. Job was great, atmosphere not so much. Environment full of cliques.

Pros

pay, cool stuff to work on

Cons

Uncomfortable atmosphere

Enjoy the challenging varying work

Was lot better place to work when it was EMS TECHNOLOGIES and still a private company. Honeywell is a huge company and only thinks about the bottom line.

productive

Couldn’t complain, they reward loyalty and the works of too hard. They could treat this base level with more respect. The value system is very point based instead of your customer service skills being weighed in at all.

Traditional Manufacuting

As a manufacturing engineer I enjoyed working here. Draw backs include an older manufacturing environment. The employees and the company culture is traditional and not normal for post pandemic manufacturing practices. The draw in is that it is a very large company with plenty of room to gain experience in the aerospace industry.

Good people and learned a lot, low pay

The job is what you make it. I learned a lot, they had good pay and covered housing. Sadly the job offer is standardized for every new hire and is below average. They were not willing to negotiate on any new hires.

Nice place to work

It is a nice place to work with slow pace. Lots of room for advancement. However, very minimal training is given to new employee. You're kinda expected to learn from your mistakes.
