Do a personal walkthrough to the different departments. Ask them yourself while looking at their faces if they're happy. Not just relying on emails and intranet. Why would you waste money sending a card with your voice recorded; you could have saved that for the annual merit raise. And whose idea is the iPad in the patient's room? It's useless with the very slow wifi connection.

Please select Clinical leaders, not MBA's. I understand that profit is good but it should be prioritize over patient care. If you are trying to cut staffing, there's a limitation even to the best employee. We are humans, not machines. We think, we care, but we burned out. We got the "patient care" part but you should be accountable for the "employee care" part.

Yes. Also test for tobacco and alcohol use. You can be denied employment based on these factors.
