Cashier and Cabin Staff (Former Employee) –  8th streetSeptember 15, 2018
The management will always take the side of the kids. The kids are smart but not well behaved. If you want your job there, let the kids run wild. The second you simply talk to the kids they will lie and have you fired over something you didn’t do. The kids will throw and break items and cuss at you and management will still take the kids side.
Pros
Absolutely none
Cons
Don’t take this job. Trust me meridian has better places

Very stressful all the time
HOUSING (Former Employee) –  Meridian, MSJune 8, 2018
Dealing with unruly, spoiled, and disrespectful children all day everyday which made the working environment as an employee hostile and stressful. Lack of support from fellow coworkers, management, and administration rude and money-hungry ceo and hr. The kids get their way all the time. Executive leadership and her team needs a whole lot of work. Micromanagement from residential supervisors which created a hostile working environment for employees. Transitional living program is a joke and needs to be revamped completely or eliminated if theres no improvement. The children lack independence that they will need once they leave hope village.

Developmental Coach (Current Employee) –  Meridian, MSAugust 29, 2017
The job can stressful at times, but very laid back. Management needs some work. The job is what you make of it. They also have activities for the children that staff can participate in.
