RBT (Former Employee) –  Edgewood, KYAugust 15, 2018
The location that I worked at made things up about my job performance because the “management” didn’t like me. The handbook states no retaliation which is absolutely NOT TRUE! There is no collaboration in the office. They just want puppets to run the programs without question. Loved the children, unfortunately if you have a strong personality it is not the place for you!

Great job as far as job description goes, but very poor otherwise
RBT/ABA Therapist (Former Employee) –  Jeffersonville, INJuly 27, 2018
The job itself is ok. The management is terrible! The “leadership” is cut-throat and 2 faced. Bad environment to be daily bc of lack of teamwork. No chance to move up. They make it sound like a great place to work, but the daily job is not all it’s cracked up to be.
Cons
No lunch breaks, no promotions internally (even tho they say they do), lie constantly to employees, break federal law, break BACB code of ethics.

Great top-notch ABA
Registered Behavior Technician (Current Employee) –  Indianapolis West INJune 30, 2018
The Indy West clinic is fun, supportive and diverse. The management knows what they are doing. The training experience was helpful and offers ongoing support to all staff not just newer RBTs. They pay for your training, testing and recertification which is unheard of in this industry. Great place to work.
Pros
Team atmosphere

Disorganized and Discriminatory Environment
Registered Behavior Technician (Former Employee) –  Indianapolis, INJune 26, 2018
The therapists aren’t provided with proper training. Many of the BCBAs don’t care about the safety/well-being of the children. Racism in many clinics.

The worst environment to work
ABA Therapist (Former Employee) –  Indianapolis, INJune 12, 2018
Hopebridge is the worst place I have ever worked at. especially their new Indy West location. Management is terrible and RACIST. They favor white staffs over black staff. it is very segregated. The manager favors certain staff, especially the male staff and she calls him outside work hours and during work hours. their relationship is very weird and disturbing. some staffs(white) have certain privileges over others. the supervisors provides no support for the black staffs. it is an unhealthy environment to work in period.

Hopebridge is fast-paced and high-energy with a great emphasis on working as a team. The team unity and support is wonderful: from the top of the ladder all the way down. Staff are upbeat and positive, and very supportive of each other.

The purpose of the job is the best part. We help so many families with a need and offer assistance. It is fast-paced, but a great environment to be in surrounded by a lot of good people.

Being a registered Behavior Technician is very rewarding. Hopebridge does extensive training to prepare you for the RBT state exam. They care whole hearted about their clients and do their very best to ensure each child is given the best treatment to reach their full potential in life.

Fast Paced
Behavioral Therapist (Former Employee) –  Evansville, INApril 7, 2018
A typical day at work is anywhere from 8-4 or 4:30 pm or less. It depends on the patient's you have. You usually have 2 patients a day, one in the morning and one in the evening. Individual lunch is not consistently given and you often eat with the patient. Bathroom breaks are also limited, depending on whether the clinic is short staffed or not.

The most enjoyable part of the job is that you get to work with awesome kiddos and teach them how to operate in social settings and or with independent life skills. This job is ideal for an employee that is young, charismatic, has a cheerleader persona, and has had limited experience as it only requires a high school diploma.
Pros
Healthcare, full time employment, all in-clinic
Cons
No or limited breaks, limited individual lunches

Line Therapist (Current Employee) –  IndianaMarch 4, 2018
The company is expanding and in the process is losing the principles that attracted me to Hopebridge in the first place. It used to be a friendly, caring environment. Now I feel like I work for any other big corporation. I am just a number, a statistic, and not an actual human being. It makes me sad.
Pros
The clients are wonderful
Cons
They are trying to standardize everything now

Clinician (Former Employee) –  Kokomo, INJanuary 1, 2018
Very low pay for the field. The owner of the company seemed to be in it only for the money. Extremely disorganized and lacking policies. Unfair treatment of employees and unethical practices. The only good part of working there was the children and their families.
Pros
Working with children and their families

Fun job and great co-workers. The training was excellent and management always available to answer question or assist in whatever ways they can. It is easy to get burned out.

Some days are difficult, some are great! Staff struggles to get along due to tensions. Kids are awesome!! Some co-workers are wonderful, other's don't care and are there for a paycheck. Management seems to forget about lower people.
