It was a temporary position for me so I really don't have much to comment. However, the brief time I was there was enjoyable and I was given work to complete each day which made the days go by quickly.

The company is in the process of merging with a larger company. That in itself can cause some woes, but even prior to the merge the company lacks in many areas. Training for employees is nonexistence. There actually is No training department. Everything you learn is on the fly which can be very stressful because you are interacting and supporting paying customers who deserve better.

The need for the company is great, but software development is a little flawed. With improvement to project planning and software development, Horizon software would be a fantastic company to work for. Good management team and relaxed environment.
