Host Healthcare makes a Travel Career Easy
RN Case Manager (Current Employee) - Fairfax, VA - April 19, 2023
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedHost is a wonderful company to work for. You are assigned a recruiter right from the beginning of the process. They walk you through every step of the way. Are honest and transparent about their available positions, which are the best fit for you and your skill set, and work to get you the highest possible pay in each assignment. Their recruiters are always accessible, personal, and help you along the journey. They have a great professional team and reputation. I would highly recommend them if you are thinking about a career in travel nursing.
Pros
So many assignments in every specialty in every state
Cons
No PTO

THE best!!
Registered Nurse NICU (Current Employee) - Morristown, NJ - June 5, 2023
My recruiter and her assistants at Host are simply amazing - (recruiter) was referred to me and I couldn't be more grateful to have had her by my side this past year. She and her team are quick to respond, SO helpful with every big and little task, they find the resources I need as soon as I need them, and they support and encourage me every step of the way. Many people (especially with the market now) have told me to shop recruiters and companies ~ well I don't need to because I truly already believe I found the best. She has fought for whats best for me and has been by my side since day one! Forever grateful for this life changing experience travel has offered <3

Fast paced and productive
RN (Current Employee) - Albany, GA - June 1, 2023
Fast paced and productive although patient ratios are awful. Not enough staff and travelers all over the facility. Unable to provider the care patients deserve.

Travel agency
Travel Nurse (Former Employee) - San Diego, CA - May 15, 2023
I had a good, experienced recruiter and was generally happy with him. I did have an issue with insurance: HR rep emailed and “assured” me that I’d be covered from day 1 of new contract in Hawaii. There was a 30-day waiting period. Really didn’t even get much of an apology. They’ve grown quickly, and the staff working in support roles like HR just aren’t experienced and make mistakes. Same for payroll - gotta keep track of your hours and make sure you’re reimbursed properly.
Pros
Money
Cons
Being away from home

This is my first assignment as a travel nurse and it could not have gone smoother. Every member of the team is on top of communication and has been so helpful every step of the way. I was so nervous to start travel nursing and Host made it a breeze!
Pros
Great communication

Jobs at Host Healthcare
Outstanding customer service & professionalism!
RN (Current Employee) - California - May 12, 2023
I’ve been a travel RN for 1.5 years and out of all the agencies I’ve worked with, Host has by far been the best. From their customer service to caring for their employees, let alone checking up on frequently on traveler healthcare professionals regarding assignments, I don’t think I’ve had this level of respect and professionalism from an agency ever. They’re not your typical agency where you hear from a recruiter and after the contract is signed, that’s it! With Host, they’ll keep you updated on every single aspect pertaining to your assignment from the before, during, and after! My recruiter has been nothing short of amazing and awesome! If I could giver her more than 5 star rating, absolutely! I recommend Host Healthcare to any traveler healthcare worker who’s looking for an assignment!

Great Place to work
Senior Recruitment Manager (Current Employee) - San Diego, CA - May 11, 2023
I love my co workers and the ability to work from home. We do have a beautiful home office in San Diego. I typically work 50 hours/week but we are fairly compensated for our overtime.

Understanding, helpful and hardworking recruiters
RN Staff Nurse (Former Employee) - St. Paul, MN - May 8, 2023
I have done two travel nursing contracts with Host Healthcare and my recruiter. She and her entire team have been so responsive with any needs I've had. The onboarding experience is overwhelming and has lots of tasks to complete, but everyone I have worked with have been very helpful, kind, professional, and understanding. My recruiter has always seemed to work with my best interests in mind, never being pushy, and always being transparent with me. I would highly recommend Host Healthcare and my recruiter.
Pros
Helpful onboarding team

A great way to see the world, do what you love, and get paid well for it!
Registered Nurse (RN) (Current Employee) - Wausau, WI - May 5, 2023
My recruiter from Host Healthcare was my partner and I's first recruiter when we started traveling, and so far we haven't even considered partnering with anyone else. She is friendly, punctual, and has led us to some fantastic places. The pay is great, we've never felt pressured into anything, and we finally feel like we're working to live instead of living to work. She even goes over and above to make sure we are both comfortable at our new location; I can't say enough good things about her or Host Healthcare.
Pros
Very flexible work/life balance, fun, travel, great pay, networking
Cons
Stress from leaving home, need for organization, complicated taxes

Friendly and Stress free workplace that works hard to meet any need
Travel Registered Nurse (Current Employee) - United States - April 18, 2023
Host Healthcare has been a great experience for a travel agency. My recruiter truly listens and the agency is there for its employees. My recruiter advocated for me in so many ways. He pushes to get the best pay rate along with helping to receive the first pick job offers. My recruiter has been very easy to talk to and works hard to meet any need. Despite any obstacles that pop up, he puts in extra time to overcome these. He checks in often to make sure things are still going well. My recruiter comes with the highest recommendation. Host Healthcare overall has been a friendly and stress free workplace to be apart of. I know I’m in great hands working for them.
Pros
First day benefits, housing assistance, 24 hour support, great recruiters
Cons
Competitive job field

Amazing Recruiter
Registered Nurse (RN) (Current Employee) - Hermitage, TN - March 30, 2023
No travel agency is great without amazing recruiters who really have your back on and off assignments. I’m so grateful for mine. She listens and really cares about me being content. She is always there when I need her and puts in the work to get me what I want and need. Highly recommend.
