Hotel Contessa is a good place to grow, but you must have some experience and background in the field as training is almost none when applying to a management position. A person was expected to take over a role and "run" with it, very little support or feedback from higher management. The great thing about Hotel Contessa is that they actually make a strong attempt in being proactive to guest needs and concerns. Plan of actions were implemented when a bad review was submitted by a guest. All complaints are taken seriously and steps are taken to avoid the same issues again and again. This hotel ranks very high in my opinion in taking action to guest surveys instead of just returning a thankful or apologetic email.

The management in each department is great. Lots of support when needed. Training supervisors in each area are very helpful. Most employees go out of the way for each other. Great Benefits, and very friendly and uplifting environment.

The hotel is very distinguished. The hotel values the guest and all employee's. My particular position is constantly busy all day. Attention to detail is key. Management has an open door policy, I felt no barriers. All employees even in different department are always willing to help each other.
