Pick another hospital to gain experience in the medical field. Houston Methodist is great at leading medicine, but the old saying “everything that glitters isn’t gold” holds definite truth when it comes to this institution. I have never worked for a more poor inconsiderate, out of touch , moral lacking, team of management in my entire career. Houston Methodist “prides” it’s self on its ICARE values , but from HR on down to the team leaders are lacking in fulfilling these standards, when it comes to regular employees. The Texas Medical Center is #1 in the Nation but I wouldn’t waste my talent and/or time at this Hospital.

Come in enthusiastic about getting the job. Show your heart and desire to help people and work hard. If you have any medical experience or are working towards a medical degree be sure to tell them if you are applying for a PCA. They want people who are growing and excited about their future with a good solid work ethic. (This worked for me at least.)
