Lone Star Real Estate Fund II, Contractor (Former Employee) –  Dallas, TXNovember 22, 2017
Worked a group of very sharp folks to review, assess and onboard distressed commercial real estate assets.

The assets ranged in value to a few hundred thousand dollars to multi-million dollar projects. The assets were domestic multi-family and retail located around the country and were held in one fund.

The task was to organize the documentation and data in order to hand off the asset to an Asset Manager to stabilize and dispose of the asset.

Work experience is good and you get to learn. However, the work-life balance is terrible and no opportunities for growth.Hostile environment, lack of information sharing, no open door policy, position always in doubt.

This place was a nightmare when I worked there. Very unorganized and the leadership was non existent. I worked as a fund accountant and would not recommend this place to anyone.

Loved this job
IT Analyst (Former Employee) –  Dallas, TXJune 19, 2015
Seriously, this job was outstanding, and I still miss working there. Many of us were let go during this time frame, but I believe the company has recovered, and working here is a good choice if you can make the cut.

Great place to work for the short term
Associate (Former Employee) –  Dallas, TXDecember 2, 2014
Company has had numerous lay offs and there will be more. Fast paced, hectic work environment so bring your A game! Some directors are fantastic to work with while others need to check their ego at the door! Great place to learn and get some experience. Then, get a REAL job!

The office is very laid back with minimal supervision. You come in and do your job and go home to enjoy your life.

SENIOR EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO SVP, CIO, CTO (Former Employee) –  DALLAS, TEXASMay 8, 2014
I would rather not go into specific detail. The issues seem to be isolated into one department.
