Busy
prepared meals for home bound senior citizens throughout Huron County and a meal for the dining center. Visiting with the senior citizens was a blessing. They were an adventurous group and very active for their age

Working at HDC is never boring! The mission of the agency is Restoring Hope by Helping People and Changing Lives, and that is obvious from the variety of programs provided and customers served, from babies to the elderly. If you truly want to make a difference in the lives of people in the community, HDC is the place for you! I have worked here for 22 years now, and I am always challenged and encouraged to work smarter, try new things, and stretch myself personally and professionally.

Job training is minimal and other coworkers can cause job to be difficult. Not a fair or equal employer. I worked for this company, even when no one else would. No appreciation, ur just a number.

Love my job, it feels rewarding. They appreciate all I do and more. I go above and beyond. I rarely turn away work. You can become attached to some of the elderly. Very thankful.

You are your own boss, you report to no one, and you can make your own schedule. You don't have to punch in, if you are late just stay later , and you don't have to worry about missing a day you can just rescedule.jjusstaylater
