Much emphasis is put on how Humana cates about their ‘associates’ but when it comes time to show it, they fail miserably. You can go along getting good reviews but still get blind sided by a lay-off or a low rating for bonus distribution. And surprise, they offer no explanation or tell you who has contributed to this negative opinion of you. To me it’s just another way to reward their favorites at the expense of other good workers. This culture/attitude is prevalent in Military as well as corporate.
I would reach out to Care Manager more for the purpose of advancement in their carreers/discussion within the company based education and expertise.
Perhaps lighten up on the metrics. It may have been the power was in the wrong hands but monitoring a mouse not being clicked for four minutes was really a waste of time. I’m hearing stories now of PTO ( paid time off) being taken away for bathroom breaks. That’s going a little extreme. I know time can be taken advantage of by employees such as long breaks or possibly a habitual person showing up late everyday but penalties for bathroom breaks seems to be crossing the line. I saw many a smoke break go without even being counted against anyone. Almost as if a smoke habit can be justified. Humana has great training and the Vitality program in really inspiring. Focus on the quality of the persons work and work ethics as a whole.
Yes in medicare customer service work at home they send home dual monitors and a phone. You have to have a certain speed internet that you pay for out of your pocket. Calls drop constantly if your internet is not good. Even with good internet the entire system would go off line.
And leadership must be out of their mind if they think that what they put Humanas members through this year. Newsflash, if you disregard every member you currently have; advised by all levels of leadership to blatantly disregard our members, transfer them over and over, some members OCt, Nov, and DEc First time in my life anywhere, that agents were reprimanded to make sales for products callers wanted. Humana playing games on the phone, with members and employees. I was proud of the orginization I represented until this AEP. Now I don't want to tell people where I work.
Start my day by reviewing emails, members information for updates, scheduling appointments, assist members with needed resources.
