I have a copy of the job description for a member advocate inbound contact representative 1, part-time. The job description appears to thrive on the job candidate as having prior working experience dealing with irate customers. How necessary is it to have past working experience especially dealing with difficult customers? Job candidates have different kinds of experience dealing with difficult customers. Why should job candidates be exempt from the job interview process because of lack of experience with difficult customers? Maybe they have other qualifications or a desire for the job or other reasons why applying. If their properly trained and have access to provide customers with answers to their questions and the customer service rep knows where to refer the customer to resolve their problem, then could not that be a solution to dealing with difficult customers? I would only assume that humana would coach or train employees on how to handle certain situations.Yes, Humana has training and coaching for tough situations. Training varies from department to department.
