HA! LOL...you don't seem to need a GED from the quality of ppl HD hires. The FAB division is horrible. The MFG division seems a bit better, all depends on where you're located per where you'll end up. As for those with an Interior Design degree, they should not even slow down when tempted by an HD offer. Most of the fabrics and designs are fugly.

The interview process was fine. I had phone interviews to be hired, sight unseen as they say. Mgt worked off site and didn't;'t meet him F2F for 2mos. The Dir of Ops of the West Sac plant was a tool, no one respected his mgt style. Very short and never seemed to have time to talk. Input on conceals was a lot of "duh" type statements. I'm sure he thought he was sounding intelligent but it made him sound like. yes a man. There's good ole boy network there also even though there's new VP and Sr mgt. I never interviewed with anyone but my mgr which I thought was odd.
