Answered - Patient Care Associate (Former Employee) - Pasadena, CA

Report answer

Morale is extremely poor as Huntington has slowly been losing experienced nurses due to not having competitive wages and over working them beyond their duties to the point of exhausting them. Then instead of hiring new nurses and having to give them proper hours during slow periods, they flood the gap with temp registry or traveling nurses when they are often understaffed. The CEO and Management seems to ignore employee complaints. Patient care suffers because of this and it seems like it is not the priority of the CEO or Management when it should be, as this is a Hospital.
