The simple answer is your family comes first, so make that a point at your interview, that makes you a great person of substantial quality, that is exactly the kind of employee they hire, you.
I will tell them there are better places to work and not waste their time. They will change your schedule without telling you or your kronos and expect you to be there. Did that to me and wanted me to drive 200 $%#@ing miles back there when I was visiting my Grandmother
They will change your schedule with no communication and expect you to read their mind. The totes we used for delivery are contaminated with E-Coli and salmonella along with other bacteria. Drivers are constantly getting sick from handing the reaking totes that are never washed. Do not work here
I only received one raise in 4 years and that was only when I threatened to quit. No one else in department has really gone up at all except the one woman who doesn't work as hard.
If you were in charge, what would you do to make Hy-Vee, Inc. a better place to work?
Go back to what made HyVee great. Less corporate management, allow dept mgrs to run their areas, get a director with 1/2 a brain
I applied on their website and got a call to set up my interview. For the actual interview, they just ask you questions about yourself and why you want to work there. The manager was very intimidating and unfortunately didn't give me the job.
Run away. Upper store mngt is too young, director is clueless. Dept managers dont, run their depts.
