The individuals who actually do the work certainly do the very best with they have. Hyland is very talent-heavy after several recent acquisitions and they are weeding out anyone who earns more than entry-level wages or who is older than 35-40. A very casual environment, which has pluses and minuses. With no formal performance reviews, no one knows what to improve on to better themselves. Can be a great group of people to work with, but Management is instructed to follow a profits-only business model and HR is not an advocate of the individual contributor. Complain to HR and they'll be on the phone to your boss before you're back at your desk. As a former supervisor, I can guarantee this is 100% true. I joined Hyland with an intent to retire from there - now, I feel ashamed to tell people that I ever wasted time and effort with them.
