Was a great place to get your foot in the door Learned a lot working with IBM. Iwas taught about switches and Routers and RPG the mangement was ok but I really didn't care for them.

It's good work, the pay and benefits are nice, and co-workers are helpful and productive. Just wish there was more on-hands training. There are a lot of opportunities for growth though in this company nonetheless.

Things move rather slowly at IBM, especially when implementing new patterns and components.The culture is okay but would be better if they made other teams feel more involved. Engineers have the most clout here.It's easy to succeed if you keep your head down and give the engineers what they want.The hardest part of the job is having to convince others of the value of design.
