I learned a lot, contributed much. I will highly recommend my friends or relatives to seek employment within IBM. They have a wonderful work balance culture.

pretty good

“Overall, I enjoyed my experience with IBM. I learned a lot about how working in the corporate world. The workplace culture was great, everyone worked individually to complete assignments but was required to also work as a team for the completion of other work tasks.” 1“Good company and can work from home. I enjoyed going into the office as well since this is where I met most of my good friends. The culture is tough and you have be on top of your game.” 1“Fun to work for and great team environment. Check for accuracy of amounts to be paid and entered all A/P amounts in their appropriate accounts into the computer software system, and assisted other employees who fell behind on their work load.” 1“My typical day at IBM consisted of conducting technical and operational analysis of capital spending, budgeting, and tracking using advanced accounting application modules within SAP and its feeder subsystems, Capital Tracking Facility and Ledger Systems. I was basically analyzing and interpreting complex data identification of issues and development of alternate courses of action with recommended solutions. Overall, I enjoyed my experience with IBM. I learned a lot about how working in the corporate world. The workplace culture was great, everyone worked individually to complete assignments but was required to also work as a team for the completion of other work tasks.” 1I hope this helps!

Toxic invironment

Working at IBM has been a mixed experience for me, marked by high stress and a demanding corporate culture. While it may suit some, for others, the environment can be challenging.Pros:I've had the fortune of working with some amazing direct managers who were supportive and understanding.Cons:High Stress: The work environment at IBM is intensely high-pressure, making it a tough place for those who do not thrive under constant stress.Training Challenges: The training process was quite rough, and it did not adequately prepare new employees for the demands of the job.High Turnover in Management: There is a noticeable turnover rate, particularly in management roles, which adds to the instability and unpredictability of the work environment.Inaccessibility of Some Managers: Not all managers are well-versed in the job functions they oversee. Their unavailability to answer crucial queries especially affects new employees.Corporate and Conservative Culture: The culture is highly corporate and leans towards being conservative, which may not align with everyone's values.Difficult Clientele: Working with clients can be extremely challenging, at times feeling like the expectation is to act more as servants than professionals.Demoralizing Atmosphere: There's an underlying sense of demoralization, stemming from the company's rigid expectations and interactions with difficult clients.Company's Social Responsibility: There is a clear disconnect between the company's substantial earnings and its contributions to local communities. More effort could be made in giving back.Workplace -

Workplace culture Poor

They went from a very family oriented and friendly company to a new age tent of counter culture.. They literally make it a hostile workplace for people with Christian value.

It’s work, not really fun just work.

What is the best part of working at the company?I can work from home sometimes. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? They have these these called “resource actions” that are really layoffs and you get a 2 week notice and only 1 month severance regardless of how long you have worked for the company. Several of my colégiese have been payed off this way. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Depends on the department, some are more collaborative than others but since performance ratings are relative your peers tend to be on the cut throat side. What is a typical day like for you at the company?Work at least 9 to 10 hours if you wanna get ahead and not get payed off.

Productive and fun place

The company has a global workforce, which can provide exposure to diverse cultures and ideas. challenges related to work-life balance, especially in demanding roles. The company has also undergone restructuring and layoffs in recent years, which may have caused job insecurity among some employees.

Last minute change

Lots of reorganization. Lots of politics. No growth. The assigned partner within our project lacks leadership and knowledge about the industry. Decent pay. Known in the industry.

Good company but not that great!!

Stagnant compensation and very difficult to get promotions. There is still this buddy-system culture that is ailing very good talent to reach new levels and they end up leaving the organisation.
