What tips or advice would you give to someone interviewing at iCare Health Network?
We would agree to be yourself, be thorough and be honest, like in any hiring process. On the flipside we at iCare try to be open and honest about the job duties and expectations for working here. iCare is known for treating challenging and complex cases. These cases are challenging for a host of reasons such as substance use and behavioral histories or complex medical conditions like CHF and COPD. It takes special individuals to work in these environments day in and day out. So the interview should be an opportunity for the applicant and the iCare team to make sure it is a good fit for all of us.
I agree with the other answer provided: easy, fast and to the point. We are exploring same day job offers and when we run job fairs we do interviews on the spot. People are busy and your time is important. If you are qualified and you have the right attitude we shouldn't waste time; we should get you on the team ASAP.
Yes, can you work day in and day out with a population of residents that really needs your time, energy and devotion? Can you work within a team? Have you faced challenges in your career? Are you comfortable in a long term care setting? Can you promote good customer service at all times? Can you identify with people of all backgrounds and empathize with the challenges and struggles they have faced?
