Health benefits provided by the company definitely need improvement, but overall working here has been a great experience. Management provides flexibility to the best of their abilities with time off and work hours, which is incredibly helpful with two small children at home. Your career and personal goals are encouraged and the company will help you reach them (as much as possible). Teammates are selected extremely carefully, which has been great for creating a unified atmosphere. I always feel heard if I bring up a challenge/bottle-neck we're facing and management usually has an answer to solve the issue. No job is stress free, but compared to any other job I've held, I'm far happier and able to live my personal life with no interference, so even the stressful periods are pretty easy to handle for me. If you get a position here, apply yourself to the job well and have positive interactions with your team and management, you'll do great here.

Compensation and benefits are very competitive, the additional flexibility from management and support from the team bump this jump up in the ranks.

The staff does an excellent job with scheduling such that team members can anticipate what their work levels will be weeks in advance. The workplace culture is inclusive and supportive such that there's always a lending hand available. Management and team members push each other to excel both professionally and personally. While that push can at times cause staff to explore new areas and extend themselves, there's always support in that path. The team all help and support each other, both in work and life outside of work.

Management is terrible. They burn out good, strong people. Don't work here. They do not appreciate your work or time. The only good thing is the friendships I made with the team. Many layoffs over the past year, beware!!

Pros

The team we had was great, but everyone was laid off. Management doesn't know how to budget money. Beware.

Cons

Management. No work life balance. No benefits, low pay. This place was a joke. No accountability from management. They run you into the ground.

Good team culture. Management is friendly and helpful as long as you are completing your tasks. You get exposure to different kind of projects and you get to learn a lot. But turn over is very less and lot of lay offs.

Set the standard for what I expect when walking into a new lab

You will learn new things here every single day and develop new skills. The lab manager and department heads all welcome training on the machines they have their and are extremely open to new ideas for experiments. Culture was simply amazing.
