Not great management
G-CTA (Former Employee) –  Wilmington, NCMarch 29, 2018
I was told that I was doing great and was working hard to train G-CTAs in other countries for my job to be outsourced. There was not a lot of support from upper management. 1 on 1s were few and far between.

Great Team
Construction Project Coordinator (Current Employee) –  Rolling Meadows, ILMarch 24, 2018
Great people and team collaboration;
No two days are the same which is enjoyable.
Project Managers are a team with the Project Coordinators - not delegating work which allows them to function as one and accomplish more.
Great benefits and family atmosphere.
Need better pay - expertise is called upon but pay is not commensurate with experience and requests to assist all levels of team and managers.
Pros
Great People and Benefits
Cons
Currently advertising same position at higher pay for someone with less experience

Extremely repetitive with difficult co-workers
Server (Current Employee) –  Galloway, NJNovember 14, 2017
The management, the chefs, and the guests you serve at Icon Hospitality are all fantastic people. However, the other servers are some of the most stuck-up people I have ever met. It's like management took every rude person from every town in New Jersey and stuck them all in one place. If you feel like you can get through that, this place is great for something on the weekends, definitely not a full-time career because you would pull your hair out. It's the same routine over and over for every event, the only thing that changes is the food items presented to guests. I'd say besides the co-workers, the hardest part about this job is just to make sure you don't spill anything on anyone since it is a serving job. Also, make sure that you are always on-guard when talking to guests, because if you slip up, the guest WILL complain. The people that come here have more money than they know what to do with, and they would rather be thrown out yelling then bear to hear something they don't want to. The most enjoyable part of this job, ironically, is some of the people that you get to meet, and you can get a ridiculous amount of free food while you're working.
Pros
Free food!
Cons
Everything else!

Enjoyed my time at Icon. However, they have a skewed view of how things should work vice how they actually do work. The union was good to work with most of the time.

Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Logan, UTAugust 29, 2017
Working for ICON was fantastic. It was technical and quick-paced, without being stressful. They required a Representative to complete a call before moving onto another, and you felt like you and the customer got to know one another.
