Not a fun place to work. Thry make it horrible if you do not fit there click
Service Communication Technician 2 (Current Employee) –  Tempe, AZJuly 19, 2018
Discriminative/bias culture with no business ethics. Management is all about profit and takes advantage of customers/clients. Morally and ethically, you will have to have none and never voice a difference of opinion if you want to keep your job. You have to turn a blind eye to any faults and failure of management or you will be outcasted and targeted and forced out the door
Pros
Pto time
Cons
Low pay, favors the special select group

Overwhelmed company
AV FIELD TECHNICIAN (Current Employee) –  Chandler, AZMarch 27, 2018
A typical work day at this company is having your team lead on a job site making up the scoop of work due to the lack of prints and materials. At this company I've learned that you need to have a flexible schedule and willing to travel for long periods of time. This companies management skills were terrible. The schedules were inconstant, Project leads didn't have or didn't receive any information when starting a project. The workplace culture is about being fast and getting the job done right the first time. The hardest part of this job is working in the summer. The most enjoyable part of this job is seeing the finished product of a job site.
Pros
Health, vision, and dental benefits
Cons
Indecisive leadership

Not a pleasant place to work
Technician (Former Employee) –  Forest City, NCFebruary 12, 2018
Cut throat, no support from upper management. They form their groups and if you are not part of the "group", then you are pretty much SOL. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Poor management, cut throat and nepotism abounds! If your not on the friends and family plan don’t waste your time. Toxic work environment, dishonesty and lack of ethics.

I really enjoyed working here, there were a lot of different people that I got along with and am still friends with today. You are able to learn and grow with the company but it was difficult to move up in the company and get better pay,

I've thoroughly enjoyed my time with IES and will consider continuing with them, if the project availability suits my needs. I've gained a lot of experience and was able to utilize my skills adequately, while honing in some new ones that will help me proceed with my career path.

Telecommunications Technician (Former Employee) –  Ft. Worth, TXNovember 15, 2017
IES sub contracted some very unprofessional people that lacked all skills required to perform structured projects. Project managers ( brought in from out of Area) lacked people skills and did not communicate with technicians. Best technicians at job site got fired by unexperienced IES Owner son becasuse of BAD technicians behavior and performance. Work with a great team lead yet project was short lived.
