It took very long to hear back from anyone i had to apply 3 times before I even heard back from anyone. After they do your phone interview it takes about a week or two before you know if you can go into the store for an interview and after your in store interview it takes about two more weeks to know if you got the job.

The interview process is much like all interview processes. Once your offered a position at IKEA, there is a lot of training involved. Special training is done every six months, regarding: Fraud and Robbery, Safety and Security and so on. I've been there 5+ years and I've had a lot of training, example: because I handle a lot of cash, they train you what to do in case of a robbery and all procedures involved in it.
