Limited advancement opportunities , 30 minute lunches, work/life balance is terrible, limited work locations, lack of training. IKEA treats all its part time employees as if they were on call like a doctor or nurses, managers don't care about your college schedule yet they love hiring part timers, meanwhile employees that don't go to college and sincerely want yo work full time will never be offered a full time job even thought position are available or the summer rush starts, do people just quit out of frustration and IKEA NA keeps adding meat to the grinder.
