The pay is insulting for the amount of work you do.
The amount of travel makes you feel like a delivery driver instead of an MA, and their "approved travel times" between locations are completely unrealistic.
They NEVER have enough staff coverage, but always seem to be opening a new location. You're spread thinner than a packet of ketchup.
You will never leave for the night at the same time or when you're supposed to. Makes it hard to plan your life. Getting called in on your day off is also a common occurence.
The "boss" throws temper tantrums. And any available objects, if he is so inclined. He also will not hesitate to make you feel incompetent in front of patients and other staff.
The "leads" are made up of a group of young 20-somethings who are completely disconnected from humanity, and could not care less about the staff they supervise. You will do their dirty work. They will gossip about you while you do.
4 out of the 5 doctors on staff are wonderful to work with.
Most of the staff is cool.
Lots of regular patients, and the majority of them are nice people and easy to get along with.
You will gleam TONS of experience from this job.
