Management (Former Employee) – Norcross – October 23, 2013
Amazing that a company 30 years old still relies on methods from that era. When SOP's are rewritten, and there are numerous ones, one would think they are legible & clear; unfortunately they are not, so errors are prevalent. Top management does not care about quality, their only concern is getting the product out the door. When you realize that their V-P of sales is now in charge of their transfusion medicine division, you know something is not right.
Customer service does meet the needs of the customer, as they spend hours trying to understand why your instrument is resulting in false-positive reactions, yet they can't even reproduce those reactions when requesting specimens. Guess what the company does in these cases---sends out new lot numbers of reagents and 'call us if you experience any more problems'
