For my short time working here it was in some extreme weather conditions when you had to move stuff to the trucks. The other workers got fired and 3 people had to stay til 4 am so it wasnt my best experience for work

Poor place to work
Merchandiser (Former Employee) –  New JerseyOctober 13, 2018
The training they provide for merchandisers in grocery stores is horrible. They show you how to use the technology but that's about it.
No real explanation of what's expected from you in the stores and the manager they hired was also new and they didn't give her any outside training besides the technology. One day she was fired simply because they failed to help her understand what they wanted her to do. That's not right.
The pay wasn't good either and if they don't like you for non business related reasons they'll fire you. Not healthy place to work. Woke up every day in fear I would be fired even though I did everything they told me to do.
Stores were super messy and their employees are rude and treat you like garbage for being a vendor.
So happy I left, they have high turnover rate for a reason.
Met the CEO and he and his wife are very nice but it ends there.
Even their daughter is rude and unprofessional towards employees.
Pros
Sundays off
Cons
Poor pay, bad training, unprofessional

Sales Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Auburn, MAAugust 23, 2018
Stock new merchandise, order for the following week, working two stores per day. The hardest part of the job was all the backstock due to forced shipments. It was enjoyable because of working with the different employees at each store.
Pros
Somewhat flexible schedule

HR Administrative Assistant (Former Employee) –  Worcester, MAAugust 9, 2018
Pay was not great but it is a good place to start gaining experience. The culture in the warehouse is mixed but the offices was not so much mixed. I would consider starting at Imperial then moving forward after one or two years.

Very structured environment
Selector (Former Employee) –  Worcester, MAJuly 25, 2018
Work started at 7am. You go to your line. See what your position is in the line and you start picking. Sometimes you are sent to another line. You have to keep track of how much you pick by putting stickers on clipboards.
I learned how to work fast and with a lot of people.
Some managers were nice, some were not.
Being an older person, I felt left out a lot.
The hardest part was being in so early and being on your feet for hours.
The most enjoyable was making some friends and seeing them at breaktime.
Pros
They acknowledged workers when they did good, They had health fairs. When it was really hot they would come around with popsicles.
Cons
Not very compassionate when dealing with family situations or if you called out sick.

It was cool for what it was. I have nothing else to say, I do not like to dwell on the past. Good luck to those that remain, may God be with you. Peace.

Stacker/Machine Operator (Former Employee) –  Worcester, MADecember 21, 2017
Be hard working and try not to stress yourself out. Don’t be too talkative because somehow it interrupts your work but work is supposed to be done as a team and communication is needed.
Pros
Free lunches occasionally

Returns Processor (Former Employee) –  Worcester, MAAugust 7, 2017
Poor management, lousy pay, not much in the way of training. In most instances you're lucky if you get a good morning when you walk through the door. You hardly ever hear that you did a good job.

Retail Merchandiser (Current Employee) –  Auburn, MA 01501April 30, 2017
The work is not hard at all if you know anything about retail. The management staff is not very informative of all the work that needs done. They keep adding more work to each stop.
Pros
Paid mileage
Cons
Not federal rate mileage. Don't get paid until 1st stop even 2hrs away.
