Good people but unstructured
Account Executive I (Current Employee) –  Redwood Shores, CAOctober 17, 2018
Enjoyable people. But for a company of this size, there are processes that shouldn't be a difficult as they are. Not much training at all, and most negatively, the quota and sales targets are absolutely unattainable for the inside sales team.
Pros
people, benefits
Cons
Processes, commission, training

Great position for growth, change, and upward momentum. Working for this company has helped develop my professional business skills as well as my personal life skills due to the constant challenge to raise the bar and strive for better systems/services.

World-Class Products and Client List, well-know as Top Security company.

Could always count-on your managers/peers to offer assistance or comradery when needed.
Pros
World Class products and support crew
Cons
Commute-time

Use to be a great company
Anonymous (Former Employee) –  Redwood City, CAOctober 6, 2017
There's been changes to the management team which has caused a ripple effect. The culture is changing quickly, making it less enjoyable to go to work. I use to recruit my friends to come work with me all the time, but not anymore. Get out, quickly.

Stressful and management has its favorites that move with them. Like most technology companies, sales treated liked gods and everyone else not so much. Good products

Great place to work, except for....
AE (Current Employee) –  Redwood Shores, CAJuly 27, 2017
The company is a great place to work for though the compensation is very much on the low side. Management is excellent which does help keep people on board even with the low pay.
Pros
Great products and management.
Cons
Low pay, lack of advancement opportunities.

Executives are caring, humble and in general, awesome.
Front Office Admin (Former Employee) –  Redwood Shores, CAJuly 13, 2017
The thing that I still find amazing is how kind and humble to Executives are. You almost forget that these men and women are the heads of the company.
Pros
Extremely friendly environment, company-paid lunches on Tuesdays.
Cons
The Impeva and Incapsula Sales Teams have an unnecessary animosity toward one another.

Imperva is a growing public company, however still lacks some internal systems in the support area that exists in more established brands.

Overall great place to work in
Sales Analyst (Current Employee) –  Redwood Shores, CAJune 23, 2013
This is a great place to work in, the people are amazing, and work is pretty interesting too.
There is a lot of learn from other people, and management is also working hard all the time; so you don't see managers just sitting around at all.
There isn't a lot in terms of work-life balance from Imperva, however. While there is a gym, a kitchen with all the drinks and snacks one would want, there is very little team building activities.
Pros
Great working environment, great managers, amazing co-workers, kitchen with all the drinks and snacks
Cons
Not enough team building activities, relatively low salaries
