What tips or advice would you give to someone interviewing at In-Shape Health Clubs?
Mostly behavioral based questions. Be a team player, do above and beyond
Depends which location you work at, i worked at one that was understand with the hours so i worked 4 hours M-F and 7hrs on Saturday. but then i switched and worked crazy hours at first till i started school again and got a second job, so i turned in a form saying im available 5-11pm, they had me working 4 hour mornings 1-3 days a weeks, but mainly 4 hours a week.
For instructors it’s paid per class. As many classes they need or in some cases you want. I’ve worked months 5 days a weeks 2 classes per day and other months where I’ve asked to only do one class per day. And now I only want/can do 3 classes per week. They are very understanding and if you qualify and do a great job they allow you to do more
Depends on the gym you go to, i worked at two different gyms, i had called in because i had cut my big toe deep and needed to go to the doctors and get it looked at, they called someone in to cover, while at the second one when i had fractured my pinky toe i called to tell them i need to go to the doctors and they said that i need to find someone, i tried and everyone i asked either called in or straight said no, the ones who said 'no", are ones i covered for multiple times so they could go watch a movie, i couldn't find anyone and so i HAD to go in, That gym gave me sooo many breakdowns and drained me emotionally.
You don't payed enough to deal with alot things that happen at inshape.
If your a member then theirs a bigger chance that you'll get a job their, and you'll get a free gym membership.
What is the vacation policy like at In-Shape Health Clubs? How many vacation days do you get per year?
There is no policy if you are part time, you just request it off as unpaid vacation.
No, you can not bring your child to work with you. It is against company policy
