Easy job/no room for advancement
Hearing Screening Technician (Current Employee) –  CaliforniaAugust 28, 2017
Hearing screeners comprise the majority of the company's work, considering that administering infant hearing screens are essentially the entire purpose of their services, yet they receive the worst compensation for their work.

Paid a flat rate for each work day. If you end up staying at work too long, you may make less than minimum wage for that day as they do not compensate for being at work longer on certain days.

It is a simple job but there is very little room to advance your career.

They work very well with your schedule, which is great for students or busy parents.

This is a perfect job for people who want to make some easy side money, but should not be considered as a primary source of income.
