This is how it goes with felonies. You can have felonies but it depends on what kind they are and how long. Must of the time any sexual cases, theft, or violence within the 7-10 year mark they won't hire. If it's drugs or anything stupid under that time frame given enough time had passed let's say 3-4 years and you have shown an improvement you will be considered. You still have to ace your interview to go along with all these factors. This is spoken from someone who knows. If you don't believe anyone else believe me.

I was hired on through Select Staffing in Pueblo, co.. they go through many hiring freezes throughout the year. As soon as the hiring freeze is over they call you to do drug testing, pass background checks and sign paperwork.thats it
