History/Background:

ICE was founded in White Salmon, WA, in 1990. Its mission, to develop composite technologies and

processes, has led to multiple high-volume manufacturing opportunities. ICE is best known for its line of

windsurfing masts marketed under the NoLimitz brand name. NoLimitz is the highest visibility area of ICE,

especially locally, but far from all we do here. In fact, NoLimitz masts are actually a very small slice of the pie.

ICE manufactures advanced composite products for many customers—most in the aerospace, industrial, or

recreational industries. Our capabilities range from table-rolled tubing to complex molded components. ICE

often works with its customers to engineer solutions for their needs, and then moves these prototypes into

volume production. Currently, ICE manufactures a diverse range of parts for a broad customer base, including components for the oil and gas industry, surveying equipment, UAV aircraft for Boeing/Insitu, furniture for Polo Ralph Lauren, and automotive components, to name just a few. ICE is the leader in its field and continues to grow and prosper. We are constantly developing new markets and products driven by our customers' needs.

What ICE does:

ICE specializes in the engineering and fabrication of composite (carbon fiber and fiberglass) parts utilizing pre-preg materials. Pre-preg is a heat activated, dry material. The wet resins or toxic fumes usually associated with composite production are not used here. The materials and production technology ICE uses are expensive, but they make the highest quality products available. We take great pride in the products we

produce and the support we give our customers. It feels good knowing the part you built just launched into

space or helped win the America's Cup. Every single person at ICE is a critical team member leading to the

success of not just ICE but to our customers' success and the nation as a whole.

Culture:

ICE believes in keeping manufacturing jobs in the US and in our local community. We provide an exciting,

challenging, and rewarding workplace that people enjoy. ICE works with its team members to help them grow

personally as well as within the organization. We believe work should be something we look forward to and

enjoy. ICE operates on a 4/10s schedule allowing for a great work/life balance. We support employee health

and wellness with flexible work schedules and offer a variety of fitness and weight loss support. Employees

learn a variety of skills which increases the "family" feeling of the workforce. The ability to bring your dog to

work is a unique part of our culture. ICE employees enjoy pro discounts on outdoor gear, clothing and

accessories. ICE is a drug, alcohol, and tobacco free workplace.

Benefits:

ICE believes that when the company does well, everyone does well. We offer a full range of benefits as well

as a monthly bonus program based on hitting goals and continuous improvement. Benefits include:

Can be stressful at times. They need to realize their employees are their greatest strength. Expected to much from untrained techs. they let a lot of good techs go and hired bad ones

ICE is a great place to work and be proud of what you do. The compensation is great and allows me the Fiscal freedom to pursue my hobbies and passions. I feel appreciated and apart of something bigger than what most of my peers are doing.

In comparison to other companies in the area doing the same thing, they pay several dollars less an hour. They get you to think there will be bonuses that will compensate for that but it's very rare that you get one and on the occasion that you do, it's not much. Also, HR will continually work against you to lower your "points" that contribute to your yearly raise, and will use absolutely anything...
