Deploying vs CONUS opportunities
UAS Site Lead / Mission Coordinator / Operator (Former Employee) –  Bingen, WANovember 20, 2018
Work life balance is difficult considering most jobs at Insitu relate to deployments overseas. The deployment rotations are more favorable than competing UAS companies, and subcontractors, but the time away is significant.

The CONUS salaries are lower than the national average, but the culture is fantastic and the work-life balance is exceptional.

Difficult location to hire good people
Senior Lead Procurement Agent (Current Employee) –  Vancouver, WAJune 7, 2019
The gorge is a difficult location to hire good qualified people. The drive from Portland, OR or Vancouver, WA is long and dangerous in the Winter and housing is expensive in Hood River
