Can you bring your child(ren) with you when you go shopping and delivering?

It is against the contract that YOU SIGNED. I have no issue reporting people and getting the slobs off the app

It is actually against Instacart policy to bring anyone with you while on an active batch. If you are caught or reported to Instacart, you can be deactivated.

I have brought my children with me when I did my instacart shopping. When my 6 yr old dad was working & I needed the money what was I do. She's helped me shop in the store & delivered. I had a customer who ordered 8 cases of water, 2 cases of pop, 36 cans of juice and some other item and lived on the 2nd floor She got a tip from another customer & I paid her she was so happy to make her own money. It teaches them work ethic, responsibility, & compassion for others.

So while considering "applying" on their homepage they literally have a shopper there with a child shopping you can tell because of the child is handing them groceries. I would think allowing you to bring your children would make this an even better job for those who can't work without their children. Allows more people to shop.

Yes you can bring people with you it says in the contract you can hire your own personnel

This company treats us as if we were their employees I can’t continue working for people like this who want control of my life like either way people are going to find the addresses so why make such a big deal out of someone helping out.This company really is begging to look like a ....

For the people saying that Instacart knew their kids were with them, this would only be possible if you were ONLY a shopper (and don’t also deliver) and someone knew your first name and last name and turned you in. There are no supervisors at the stores babysitting us. I’ve seen fellow shoppers with their kids working multiple times and I applaud them. We have to work and it teaches kids. No one else can access your app so they aren’t working for you.
