I have a "pending" misdemeanor charge. Instacart based hiring me on a pending charge... Which was unrelated to their platform and hasn't even been processed yet. Because I'm fighting it. Yet, I know people with drug charges and even DUI's driving around buying alcohol for customers... How does that make sense?Instacart will literally consider you guilty even before the justice system does. Their HR's motto should be "guilty before proven innocent".So in short, no. They won't hire you if you have anything but a spotless record. But they will send you an email getting your hopes up if they find anything. I got an email stating "you aren't immediately disqualified for having a charge in your record" yet, even with tons of experience as a freelancer, character letters on my behalf and the fact it is pending... Was not enough.

Someone who is an "ISS" in store shopper will shop the order, a second person will come and pickup the order to deliver. Some are done this way as a two part step. You would not need a car to shop the items but you need to arrive at the store to work, those are hourly jobs for the ISS.
