I agree, if ypu are javing trpuble making money with Instacart then you may be the problem. I spend about 60.00 in gas a week, but my pay is close to 700 a week and I am in the suburbs. I do not sit in parking lots and i do not struggle for hours. I enjoy it. I do it full time and am making a killing. I use an app to calculate my mileage and taxes. I am definitely benefitting from Instacart.

I am the same as the guy that can make that in a good day. There is a lot of factors that go into how much you can make. For example, your speed and your customer feedback. If you are personable, groomed neatly, pack groceries in an organized fashion, your customers will leave great comments. The customers opinion combined with your speed AND accuracy, if all good, you can make great money with Instacart. Overall, by the end of the week and with the new pay structure, I average $17.50/hour. I used to average $22 to $30/hour.

Since they just restructured payments full service shoppers actually make less money now. I used to make $15-$40 an hour on weekends as a full service shopper. Now it's a solid $15/hour. You would have to work like 20-25 hours to make $300 but good luck getting that many hours on a weekend
