They make it impossible to get your money into direct deposit, there isn't any clear answers in the help center so my money just sits in the shopper app from previous weeks batches unable to access. They keep telling me it'll automatically deposit into my account and time after time it does not, the days it will download are also different depending on the representative I talk to and I know it isn't their fault, the company needs to get it together and give people their money or at least make it accessible to deposit yourself without the app "doing" it for you.

The dropping and status of hours when you don't work as much as they want you to. Fairs around 19 Shoppers in my area do you think that I get the hours that I want? And then anxiety and the waste of gas. I have to fill my car up about every two days.

To get money off their bill, you have customers who will complain about anything. A box is dented or they won't respond when your asking a customer for other options. I even got a poor service rating from a very rude customer! The drivers should be able to rate the customers so that drivers know when they are getting a snooty complainer. The pay is a joke. And will blame it on "technical issues" so now they are offering a one time payment to shoppers to prevent a class action lawsuit because people are realizing we have been being taken advantage of. This company does not care about anyone except themselves.

The money is one thing. On certain week I could make a decent amount of money and the next a homeless person can make more money than me. I want to quit but until a better job comes up I stuck here.

I'd leave for more money and a job closer to home or that allows you to work from home.

Zero work. They hire out of their needed cities and try to coax you with extra money to drive at least a half hr away to the city they actually need u in. 3 days here, on call for 4+ hrs waking up super early and for nothing. So i would leave because no jobs.

I do not get any orders (batches). Sit and wait 6 - 8 even 9 hours many days without a single order....or you finally get one the last 15 minutes of your shrift. Yesterday this happened again and I made $16 for 9 1/2 hours.
New Years eve (afternoon) the stores were slammed in my area... store stock had many outs and shortages so going back and forth with customer trying to find replacements and what do you get for all your hard work form instacart....messages saying you need to work on your timing,
It is next to impossible to get a hold of support and actually get a problem resolved. f they do answer you will be put on hold for "3 to 4 minutes" ... and then no one returns to the call... or they will just hung up on you. Had that happen several times also.
They could have such a good thing if they would just work with their shoppers... paying more and don't saturate the area's so nobody can make any money.

They have you wait an hr before they start giving you orders. The hour is unpaid. They do not pay by the hr. This company is stealing the tips from their drivers. It's no way I am delivering in Manhattan to RICH PEOPLE with $200+ orders and these people are tipping $1.40 cents or less. I was told by a person that I will get a $12tip I got $1 instead. These people don't pay for gas. So you get $3 max in tips, and $1.50max in mileage.
