Outstanding Product, Clueless Management

The OmniPod Insulin Management system is an outstanding product. The work is rewarding because you are helping patients each day. Unfortunately, the culture of the company is trending in a very negative direction.
The trend has been to eliminate certain roles and positions, add it to the daily work load of existing sales reps and then down the road decide more reps are necessary to carry out the various tasks. With recent company growth, management appears to be more interested in how many inexperienced, poorly trained bodies they can put into chairs at the expense of their most senior, experienced reps..
Daily work load is more than most can successfully carry out in 8 hours and management recently did away with all overtime. No clear cut path for promotion within the inside sales team. Quarterly quotas are extremely high and there is constant pressure to exceed the numbers. Significant pay gap between inside and outside reps with inside reps doing more and more work.. Hopefully leadership will recognize past mistakes and not continue to repeat them before experienced reps leave.
