I just left the company a year ago after working here for several years. The company has deteriorated over the last fews years. Management is completely disconnected to their sales people and disrespectful. They act as if they are doing you a great favor by allowing you to work there. And they don't offer a competitive salary, yet expect sales people to work at a high level, with a very unprofessional management style, and no interest in what could make the company a good place to work. They have a complete lack of integrity and nepotism - hire family members in positions where they report directly to people related to them. If you are looking to feel good about where you work, IAC is not the place. With all the remote companies that are offering better pay, management, and workplace culture now.
I believe you get out of a position what you are willing to put into a position. In sales, especially "remote" you need to be a very driven person and very goal driven/motivated. Sales is a numbers game you must be willing to put in the effort to reap the reward. I have felt supported along the way and have built incredible relationships with a number of Teammates that I may never actually meet
I started working for IAC at the beginning of this year and am loving my job. *I came from a company where i worked for over 27 years, so my experience with other companies are limited. I am happy to have a job where my work day is done when I turn off my computer. No holidays, weekends or nights! The company provided me with all the tools necessary to do my job, from computer equipment to support from my manager and team members. Learning the software was easy. I am paid a base pay and also for all of my sales, so my incentive each month varies. Having great customer service skills will help tremendously-since you are making sales calls all day. My manager is very high energy and strait forward. I have had many managers, and there are definitely no two alike! My current manager listens to us and also lets us know we are heard. Our weekly team meetings are fun and informative. Our work week is M-F, 40 hours. My most enjoyable thing about this job is calling all over the US and getting to know the people I am calling as well as working with a fun and tight-knit team. We help each other with no questions asked.
