There is always plenty going on. But nothing is finished or produced. Just keep changing courses.
Manager (Former Employee) – Bellevue, WA – October 25, 2018
There is a lot of amassed talent at the company, but it goes in 100 different directions at once and changes on the whim of the founders, business goals, strategy and positioning constantly changes. People are given responsibility with out authority to enact positive changes and those who bark the most get the most praise.
lab of incredible resources
long hours, bad management and ever changing goals
Executive Assistant (Former Employee) – California – October 20, 2014
The job itself was great, but unfortunately the company is not what it once was 6 years ago. The benefits are not great because the main headquarters is in Washington, not California. Management is hit or miss depending upon who you are rolled up under, which can change quarterly. Hardest part of the job was the constant change due to the young-ish age of the company. My co-workers were some of the most brilliant minds I have come across, which is a thought shared by most who have worked there.
IT Person (Former Employee) – Bellevue, WA – September 30, 2014
I learned that not all IT personal have the same view on how to service the customers. Management tends to have personal goals with communication being very poor in regards to the companies agenda. Departments are silo'ed and defensive and often interfere with accomplishing tasks. The hardest thing is probably getting support and help from co-workers outside your department, and keeping up with bad product decisions. The part that keeps me coming to work everyday is the customers I support. The appreciation and kindness is overwhelming.
No solid policies and proceedures, too many exceptions and holes. Poor direction and execution
Industry Business Director, Automotive (Current Employee) – Bellevue, WA – September 10, 2014
IV was a great place to do interesting work, but that is changing. The leadership has created and adversarial environment both internally and externally. While the compensation has been good, the future outlook for job security is negative.
