Great Place to work!

RN Staff Nurse (Current Employee) - Greenville, NC - October 25, 2016

They care about their nurses and patients! Family oriented! I really feel appreciated in my work. The clinical supervision staff are always helpful with any questions, and the administrative staff is awesome! I like that they have Respiratory Therapists on staff to help train on ventilators.

Working for Intellichoice, for me, has been truly rewarding. My shifts are usually 10-12 hours. I came from a medium-large hospital ICU background. In those situations, there were many different disciplines and ancillary staff that were hands on, real time, face to face support.Working with Intellichoice, I have experienced working with a level of autonomy that I have not previously. I have endless opportunities for learning, and I always feel that a very solid, consistent, sincere Office/Management team, is just a phone call away, as I work through a given day. This job is outright fun on many occasions. The hardest part? I've been a nurse for thirty years, and a 12 hour shift hasn't gotten any shorter But, I'm not ready to be put out to pasture just yet! I feel appreciated here. I have the highest admiration for my Branch Manager and his staff. In comparison to this area market, for similar nursing positions, compensation is very fair.

Excellent work/life balance and scheduling flexibility

Cons

Breaks can be short, depending on the needs of the patient on a given shift.

Management is very willing to work with you to find positions to meet your needs.Benefits not good. No PTO or sick days with pay. Insurance is expensive and no 401k.

i enjoyed working here. I felt management listened to my concerns and changes were implemented that helped the overall morale of the office. I would recommend this company to other nurses looking to enter into home care.
