Flexible schedule, bonuses, good pay

Featured review

IntelyCare selected this as a representative review
There are so many facilities to choose from, different hours, etc. The app is easy to understand and pick up shifts, add documents, ask questions, look at pay stubs. Daily pay is an added bonus.

IntelyCare has a bad reputation with facilities! They scoff when they notice I’m agency!

IntelyCare has low pay rates, they don’t stand up for you to facilities, facilities cancel very often, I’ve had entire weeks cancelled before which destroys my budget and I’ve had to go weeks without paying my bills because Intelycare’s income is so unreliable!! The HR staff is rude and uncaring they do not take family life into serious consideration and they limit what you see on the app!!! We are supposed to see all the shifts available in my area!!! They control the algorithm of your app feed!!! When you call and make a complaint they say it’s because of your filters!! I didn’t have any filters on!!!!

Pros

I can schedule around my daughters school activities. As with any agency!

Cons

I can’t depend on them for a dependable stable income!

Good agency but rates are wonky

I've been there for 2 years and it's the best agency to go through. I just wish the rates were more consistent. I could pick up shifts for good money one week and the next have like a $8 decrease.

Micromanaged

company has great benefits but a recent layoff and restructuring has left upper management micromanaging and not listening to the concerns of employees

Poo poo place to work

They don't screen anyone they hire. There some really awful human being working under intely and that's what's ruining this company. Pays great. Bonuses are decent but I'm embarrassed to say I work for Intely. Some of the other people I've had to work with were terrible aides and have had to report alot of them. Walked out of the building AND THEY ALL WANT TO PLAY VICTIMS...even if they are on camera being complete trash. No good facilities to pick up from either.

Pros

Bonuses, block booking, high pay, control your schedule

Cons

Bad nursing homes to choose from, awful staff, inexperienced staff, no management, fight for hours

Work hard, get paid accordingly.

What is the best part of working at the company?I can choose when to work, around my work and family schedule. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Now that Covid is over, pay rates have gone down. With rising costs of living, this causes stress. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Some facilities are more welcoming to agency staffing than others. But it is not the management, it is the coworkers. What is a typical day like for you at the company?I work hard, rarely take any breaks, but when the pay rate was higher, I did not mind. The facilities are short staffed , so I let the staff take breaks, and cover the floors.

Work when you want

Company is there for their employees. Never had an issues with this company other than currently can’t find any shifts, due to agency fading away. Very convenient, pick up shifts whenever you want.

It was ok while it lasted

While the company boomed the culture changed. The HR staff was never helpful. Management was not supportive. It is a boys world in the sales department.

Use to be great

Facilities are doing away with Intelycare. They are charging too much and giving worker peanuts. I used to only work Intely now I have had to get hired with other agency just to survive

IntelyCare

Best agency for a CNA I've worked for, as well as the highest paying. I hardly ever got canceled and did not have any issues finding shifts until I moved states and then could not find any shifts within an hour and a half from me.

Fun Workplace & Great Benefits

The culture at Intelycare was unmatched. However, depending on which department/management you work under please be prepared to be under a magnifying glass. Most emails and phone calls are scripted, which is okay but it felt as though any individual spin was frowned upon.

Best decision ive made was to start working for intelycare

I like working for Intelycare a lot. I've been here for over a year now and i am much happier. The only bad thing is there hasn't been as many shifts the past 2 months. It does fluctuate though. I still always get 40 hours a week though. I love that I can choose my own schedule it's really helpful while I'm in nursing school. The pay is good too. Another good thing is that there are no set amount of days a week u have to pick up, you can work whatever schedule you would like. Being a nursing student, this is a blessing bc there are weeks i will work less and on certain days, especially when i have a huge exam

Not a dependable source of income, but definitely the most stressful one.

What is the best part of working at the company?Flexible schedule. Although more shifts get cancelled than remain on your schedule. What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Shift cancellations, shift wages have gone down to the same as facility nurses who receive full benefits, terrible staffing conditions. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Pretty similar to the culture in healthcare...Chaotic. Customer service is a foreign call center. Many facilities are still being allowed to deny unvaxxed nurses from picking up shifts, even though the vaccines aren't preventative. Little to no chain of command or cooperation from facility staff or management at job sites. What is a typical day like for you at the company?I haven't picked up a shift with this company in a year. Too stressful.
