Cool place, but horrible management
Worker (Former Employee) –  New York, NYApril 2, 2019
The people are cool, however, there are no raises and no promotions. The hourly and salary pay is horrible. They give meaningless titles, expect double the work, with no pay increase.
Pros
Cool people
Cons
No raises, no promotions, does not hire within, they keep you in the same position but demand more work

Senior Producer/Editor (Former Employee) –  New YorkMay 18, 2018
Too many cliques, poor leadership which doesn't allow the employee to properly do their job.

The employees are nice. Pitches are not taken seriously.

Good people, bad management
Project Manager (Former Employee) –  New York, NYFebruary 23, 2018
When I was there iOne was heavy on management titles and light on management skill. There also did not seem to be a path to advancement for most employees.

Ok place to work entry level wise.
Digital Sales Director (Former Employee) –  New York, NYAugust 11, 2017
Ok place to work entry level wise. But no room for advancement. Management changes too much. Top down style. Non inclusive work environment. No support training

Fun environment but lacks strong management
SFA (Former Employee) –  New York, NYJune 7, 2016
Very awesome culture and group of people. Opportunities to meet celebrities. Finance team is very unbalanced and unorganized with little visibility into corporate teams and sales' vision. Lacked training and team is comprised of analysts who are very junior and underpaid whereas management hordes the important work and only passes along to star players. Several untrained, junior analysts create bottlenecks within the organization.
Pros
Happy Hour
Cons
Poor management within finance

Good Place to Work
Camp Op/Video Editor (Current Employee) –  New York, NYMay 17, 2016
My current position at iOne is a nice one to work out, but this is coming from someone who really was fortunate to get their foot int he door at a company that was already established. I started at an entry level position and was hired by two video industry professionals who had 10+ years under their belts. Although the dynamic and leadership has changed, I can say I've touched over 500+ videos since first starting to work their in 2014. However there comes a time where someone who started entry level would like to branch out and add mroe video production experience to their resume.
