Remember that your workers have a life outside of their job. People do not want to work for a company who consistently threatens write ups when you can't go beyond your job duties or work on your time off. They don't care if it's illegal.

More training and work to ensure success of your employees. If they are who makes it possible to get paid you should spend more time making sure each is doing well instead of ignoring the little person and only associating and gaining information from higher level staff.
