Continuous churn near the top...
Interesting work and motivated staff. For years there has been a lack of clear direction conveyed to the employees. Shifting strategies, reorgs and continuous turnover at the technical top has lead to cultural changes. The acquisition of Technicolor has added to it.

Culture is stagnant and wed to the past
Focused on licensing revenue at all costs. In some areas great lack of management support. Many just out for themselves. Watch out for the politics!

Overall Interdigital was the best job I ever had.
So sad they let me go for no fault of my own. Was hoping to retire from there in a few years. Upper management decided to eliminate my position. Was a sad day for me. Hope to pick up a similar position for a company that cares about their employees. Good luck, right!

Interesting work but bad management without vision
The management lacks grand vision and changes strategy without accountability on constantly. The work was great and provides a decent learning environment with good amount of folks with high technical knowledge. However, over the course of 3 years a lot of talent left the company to better opportunities.

Interview Questions

Do you know basic maintenance? I told them I know basic maintenance from previous jobs and from owning a home. I was a( McGyver) so to speak. However I would look up a situation on You Tube that I wasn't familiar with. 95% of the time I resolved the issue.
