As a small office, it provides personalized training. Compensation was poor, offering minimum wage. The training was excellent, however. If things have not changed, the best advice is to move on.

Teamwork makes the dream work

Working at this company has been amazing. The leadership is so nice and encouraging. There is so much room for growth and moving up and realizing your dreams and goals is encouraged. You know that they want you to succeed in life no matter what.

Best work place/environment I have ever been in!!!

Working at Internal Medicine Associates has been the most positive work experience I have ever had. It is a very friendly and family like environment, we consider ourselves the "IMA family". The physicians take care of not only their patients to the highest standards but also their employees. The ENTIRE office is very in the loop when it comes to communication and respect for each other. The benefits and flexibility of the office are wonderful and you are constantly learning new things everyday. I 100% recommend starting a career in this office.

Workplace culture

Working here at IMA has been nothing but a great experience. My favorite part of working here is who I work with. We are very close knit and very supportive of each other which is why we call ourselves the IMA family.

Great learning opportunity and great management!

From my experience at IMA the physicians and staff are great. The physicians care for their employees and they show it. I have never had so much team moral. When I did not know something they were very helpful.

Think twice

It is one of those places where you are told you are appreciated but aren't. There was diversity in places but always comments about color or education of people. There was no adherence to legal issues or patient concerns. When management would go to stakeholders about concerns of patient care or concerns that staff were worried about, it didn't matter.

Providers are great, Managers' not so much.

Providers are amazing, but the management are not so much. Administrative are not knowledgeable of clinical duties yet they overlook them. Administrative managers and clinical supervisors were not a team - this is why the company did not have a good turn over with employees.
